Huawei’s next flagship is P11 and some details about the flagship have leaked. According to famous tipster, Roland Quandt, the upcoming flagship could come at Mobile World Congress in February. The claim appears legitimate as previously, Huawei launched the P10 flagship at MWC 2017.
Recently, at the launch event of Honor 7X and Honor View 10, Huawei showcased a new 3d Camera technology. The name for the new camera tech is Point Cloud Depth Camera. The demo was showed through an add-on device plugged into a Huawei Mate 10. But according to Notebookitalia, the next flagship from Huawei may sport the new camera technology to rival Apple’s Truedepth Camera technology. Previous leaks claim that Huawei P11 probably feature 40MP Leica co-developed triple-lens camera setup with 5x hybrid zoom on the rear side and 24MP front facing Camera which will be really awesome combination. Not only that, the leaked promo indicates that the new sensor and optics optimized specially for low-light performance.
As the Kirin 970 CPU contains dedicated Neural Processing unit (AI chip), Huawei will also do a lot of optimization to improve speed of Camera and quality of pictures, utilizing the power of AI chip.
Recently released Google Pixel 2 uses Visual core AI chip to optimize Camera performance and Apple adopted new TrueDepth Camera technology in iPhone X to make 3d animoji. Now it seems that Huawei P11 is coming with the combination of both elegant features and may stand as strong rival to iPhone X, Pixel 2 and Galaxy S9 flagships.
